8.1 Onboarding Updates

Current Flow:

1. Welcome
2. Persona selection
3. Location (manual entry)
4. Weather station (manual Atlanta PWS)
5. Features overview
6. Finish

Updated Flow:

1. Welcome
2. Persona selection
3. Location wizard:

• Enter ZIP code
• Auto-detect: state, zone, frost dates, nearest PWS
• Option: manual coordinates or city/state

1. Regional setup:

• Review detected zone + frost dates
• Select weather station from nearest options
• Review state extension link

1. Features overview
2. Finish

8.2 Location Module Updates

Add Location screen:

• ZIP code entry (primary)
• Auto-populate: state, zone, frost dates, soil series
• Manual override: all fields editable
• “Detect from coordinates” button

Locations list:

• Show state badge/icon per location
• Filter by state (for multi-state users)

8.3 Settings Updates

API Keys section:

• Add frost date API key (if needed)
• Add NCEI CDO token (optional)

Location & Garden:

• Default state selection (replaces Georgia default)
• State-specific resource links

8.4 Native Plants Module

Add state filter:

• Dropdown: “All states” or specific state
• Default to user’s primary location state
• Badge showing nativity status per selected state

8.5 Glossary & Help

Update references:

• Replace “Georgia Native Plant Society” with dynamic state society links
• Replace “UGA Extension” with user’s state extension
• Add “Extension Resources for [State]” section
